A renovation with a clear added value
These residents wanted to give their typical 90’s semi-detached house a clear added value in order to create an airy, light and delightfully house. The new construction allows for a greater living space and brings structure and openness. Result is the new kitchen (which is still in the same place ) the link between the old and the new house, while maintaining cosiness. The rear of wooden cladding boards in varying widths gives the expansion a contemporary touch, but will seamlessly dissapear over time through its discolouration at the house. The sliding doors gives us the inside-outside feel an extra dimension. The innovation brought balance and peace in the home and for the people, as if they have never known it otherwise … a clear added value.
